This isn't a 'flash-in-the-pan' fad, electric vehicles (EVs) are here to stay and almost certainly going to take a big part of the auto industry in the coming years. The question is no longer when the EVs will arrive, it's where we go from here. 

Orange was designed to be the simplest EV charging product on the market, not just to make it easy to use but also easy to own and maintain. Keeping things simple means lower costs to install and almost no cost to maintain, making Orange the easiest charging station to manage at any property.

So far the majority of public-facing infrastructure has been charging stations, however, more than 80% of all charging is done at home with most homeowners choosing to use an outlet over purchasing and installing an actual charging station. Vehicle charging stations do have their place in the larger EV ecosystem, but in many cases outlets actually make more sense.

Incentives in the EV industry are nothing new, in fact without incentives, the EV industry would probably look a lot different than it does today. However, not all incentives are created equally and if site owners are not careful they can fall into an incentive trap.
